Made-to-order original artwork to celebrate those memorable moments and bring to life the humans that make those occasions so sweet.
Your custom piece will be lovingly painted in my signature radiant and illustrative style using watercolor with mixed media details on high quality watercolor paper. I work from photos provided by you on sizes 9” x 12”, 11” x 14”, or 14” x 17” depending on the nature of the composition and your requirements. I take pride in achieving both a likeness while adding a freshness and whimsy that goes beyond what any photo can capture or AI can conjure up. Your custom artwork will arrive matted, core backed and wrapped with care in tissue and biodegradable packaging. Shipping costs are included in price.

Unsure which option to select? Get in touch and we can explore together. The range of options begin with a simple eye-catching portrait. It can be further enhanced with partial background. More complex background scenes incorporating architecture, nature, hobbies can also be added to represent the subject’s rich and varied life.
For that final luxury touch I can personalize the portraiture by placing into the composition handwritten copperplate calligraphy featuring names or nicknames, monograms, dates, song lyrics, quotations, or sayings of your choice.
Standard turnaround time is 4-6 weeks but can vary at certain times of the year. Expedited turnaround can be arranged for an additional fee.

calligraphy Starting at $75
Add the perfect luxury accent to your bespoke portrait with a well-placed hand created piece of copperplate calligraphy honoring the headlining star of the portrait. In this case, the couple’s name and wedding date, but other options could be the monogram used on wedding stationary, pet nicknames, the lyrics of a special song, a quotation from a favorite book or, hey, even the punchline of a joke that tickles no one else’s funny bone but yours.
Executed with a dipping pen in black Indian ink makes for a perennially chic statement, but you might select an alternative color to compliment the artwork. The possibilities are endless but the result will be elegant.

Let me capture the elegance of your wedding day, the theme (in this case black and white), the dress, the flowers, the little extra considerations such as the origami crane motif seen here which symbolizes prosperity in Japanese weddings, reflecting Heather’s culture.
This portrait commissioned by a family member to celebrate the couple’s first anniversary (which traditionally warrants a paper gift) also bears the date of the couple’s wedding in inked copperplate calligraphy.
