Ladies and gentlemen, grab yourself a flute of pink champagne and browse my newly opened gallery of hot upcoming talent! Proudly I present a selection of my Sketch 1 class who have interpreted our guests of honor Kat and Edward from Silk for the Feed Dogs in their own unique ways.
This artistic bunch works mainly in the medium of color pencil this quarter although some have chosen to surge ahead experimenting with markers and paint which we cover next quarter in Sketch 2. There’s no holding this lot back. Remember, you saw them here first!
And Kat and Edward are just tickled pink by all the attention…although no more champagne for them. This is not that kind of establishment.
How FUN! This makes me want to run to my sketch box and give it a whirl! It’s been entirely too long since I’ve done any sketching and your students (hard to believe this is a sketch one class!) are giving me an itchy sketching fingers.
Lovely work, all. Especially love all the color! Cheers!
Get your crayons, Laura! Enough of this writing–too black and white! They are a talented bunch of freshers, aren’t they?
Just luv the colors on the last one, esp. Seriously wish I had your eye.
Aw thank you, They were a talented bunch, this lot.
Hooray for the talents of youth! I love, love your students’ use of color.
