As I walk the floor of PROJECT MRket, a menswear trade show held in Manhattan’s Javits Center, I have to take a moment to readjust my thinking. Coming off the season of graduate shows, and the close of the men’s Spring 2018 runways, the area of classic menswear looks sobering, and so quiet. But the event is jostling with vendors and buyers from all across the globe, placing orders, assembling their vision for the season ahead, imagining the reactions of their clients. What am I missing?
