I enjoy when fashion and fiction marry and live happily ever after. For example, this dapper Irish gent is influencing runways almost 90 years after this photo was taken. And he had a fine way with words. Read my ultimate Top Ten fictional muses here on FashionUnited.com

Fantastic Jackie, I loved the tie-in of death and decay to fashion. And while reading about Oscar Wilde, Laurence Llewelyn-Bowen (I’m remembering him from the late 90’s to early 2000’s) came to mind~
Thanks Dievca! I remember him, didn’t know he’d reached these shores too. He was a fan of purple and long cuffs if I recall 🙂
Yes! I think I saw him while living in the Netherlands. He was also on a show with an Irishman, Diarmuid Gavin (HomeFront)
Brillian Jackie. Thoroughly enjoyed it. And the Leopardi bit was a revelation.
Thank you Claudia. I always greatly appreciate your reactions. Tell me, did we ever get any further with that novel that’s lurking inside of you..?
