It’s Turkish Release Day! Here’s the cover of…Fashion and Spaghetti!
Turns out Silk for the Feed Dogs doesn’t translate so well in Turkish. Fashion and Spaghetti has a certain ring to it, don’t you think?
It’s the first foreign edition of the novel and is published by Nar Kitap. It will be available in all good bookstores from Istanbul to Gaziantep. The publishers were happy to use my artwork which pleases me no end. I did some pre-publication magazine interviews recently which I hope to share here soon. In the meantime, I hope Turkish readers enjoy it as much as I enjoy being read by them!
If you still haven’t read it in English, you better get cracking. You can pick it up here.
Congrats!
Congratulations, Jackie. From your penne to the Turkish market…
Thanks David!
Yeah! Congratulations Jackie. Look forward to the interviews :)xx
I’ll keep you posted, Olivia 😉
Awesome! Big congrats, Jackie.
Thank you, Cinthia!
🙂 Hey, congratulations! I hope you understand it when you read the Turkish version of it 😉
Looking forward to the interviews!
Have a wonderful week! 🙂
I think I’ll leave the reading of “Moda Ve Spagetti” to the Turkish 🙂
Have a good one yourself, Happyface! xo
😀 Okidoki – but cool that you’re now published in Turkish, too! 🙂 xo
Congratulations!
Cheers Colin!
Fashion and spaghetti? It captures the spirit – although spaghetti per se I don’t think were mentioned, were they?
You’re right. She didn’t discriminate when gorging on pasta, did our Kat. She was all-consuming 🙂
No standing ovation for imagination here but, hey, whatever works! And it WILL work, I’m sure… Congratulations Jackie! May the trip to Turkey be long, fruitful and deliciously exotic for Kat and Edward! xxx
Thanks Lia! I wish I was going with them but I’m sending them off with heartfelt wishes 🙂
Fashion and Spagetti is a great title, also. Congratulations! I was going to ask if it is available in hungarian, but since you wrote it’s the first foreign edition of the novel, that answers my question. Turkey is a beautiful place and turkish people are so nice, they will enjoy your book for sure 🙂 Are there going to be other foreign versions?
I certainly hope so! It is the first foreign translation but we hope it will lead to more, including one in Hungarian, that would be great 🙂 I’ve heard Turkey is gorgeous. Hope to visit one day.
That is TOO COOL! CONGRATS!
Thanks FH! xo
BIG, BIG {delayed} Congrats lovely Jackie…
sorry I didn’t get to this post until now but you know what they say…
better late than never!~ xo
Turkish readers are going to love twirling their literary forks in Fashion and Spaghetti! ♥
Thanks sweetie. A fork-twirling in fashion sounds like a fine way to spend an afternoon 🙂 A Turkish Delight if you like
XO!
Awesome! Congratulations xx
