A radio interview with me will air in the coming weeks on a variety of radio stations around the globe. Spot me as I pop up in the most eclectic and unexpected places on this patchwork planet. During the interview I will be discussing my career in the fashion industry, the highs, the lows, the punches, the blows, and how it inspired my book, Silk for the Feed Dogs.
The tour bus will begin rolling this Saturday night, the 11th January, when people back home in the UK and Ireland will be able to tune in to hear my dulcet tones on http://strabaneradio.com somewhere between 8pm and 10pm. I don’t have the precise time of the segment so I hope you like the DJ’s playlist, although I can’t be held responsible for it. What do you mean with my taste in music, just as well? Humph!
If you miss me Saturday, you get a second chance to catch me on http://www.northcoasthitsradio.co.uk the following Monday, the 13th, from 10pm. Then I move about a bit.
I’m going to Nashville. Yee-haw! Well, my voice will be there. The rest of me will be sitting here on my couch feeling left out. So turn off the Grand Ole Opry and listen up, folks, on Wednesday 15th Jan and again on Saturday the 18th January when I will be on http://cmrnashville.com from 10pm to midnight. Roll up, roll up! Limited engagement! Two nights only!
Then my voice is off again, unaccompanied by me, I might add, to New Zealand. Would have been nice to have been asked along for the ride, cheers very much. Don’t people do face-to-face interviews anymore? What happened to old-fashioned book tours? You can hear me on New Zealand Country Music Radio on Sunday 19th January.
The tour concludes on Monday 20th January in Australia on Seymour FM http://www.seymourfm.com.au Times to be announced. Catch me while you can!
For optimum listening pleasure, may I suggest you adopt a pose something like this, wherever you are tuning in from…My novel is now available. You can buy Silk for the Feed Dogs here.
Oh. Can I find you??
I wanna hear!
You wait. Monday-I’m gonna post my pic with your book! Mn hmm girl! Southern girl with the mostest!
Lisa, course you can find me! You can tune in to any of the broadcasts providing you allow for the time difference. But as you’re a Southern gal I’d go ahead and recommend the Nashville station’s broadcasts either next Wed or Sat. Yes, post pic, post pic! 🙂
Boo hoo, I can’t get this in Africa…anyone doing podcasts I could download?
I will upload a recording when it’s done and Africa can listen in too 🙂
Just confirmed that cmrnashville streams to the TuneIn Radio App on IOS – and probably to the equivalent App on Windows or Android. Hope to catch it JM.
Thanks Mike. I’ll not like the sound of my own voice when I hear it, that’s a certain, but onward! :-).
My pic would have wine and the kindle version of the book, beside the fire. Great stuff all round 🙂
Equally pleasant experience, I’m sure. Some dark chocolates with soft centers on hand to nibble also adds a little something extra I’ve found. 🙂
Looking forward to hearing you 🙂 Good luck! 🙂
Thank you! I don’t usually like the sound of my own voice…
Scary!! And very, very exciting! GOOD LUCK!!! xxx
Thank you, Kate. Scary, right!
